Tess made the cutest cake. It was made up of cupcakes that were individually decorated train cars. It was so creative and one of the best birthday cakes I have seen.
Katherine is always front and center when it is time for birthday cake.
It was a fun day to catch up with a lot of friends and to celebrate 3 wonderful boys.

My sister has these cake pans, and we decorated them as a Christmas Eve activity in 2007. I just looked, and there's not a picture on the blog - boo. Anyway, we made "snow" with powdered sugar, and it looked so great! We also had little marshmallow trees glued to the board with icing, and a clear rock candy sticking out of the engine as smoke. The boys had a lot of fun with it!
