We decided to go to the fair yesterday. I am sad that I did not get more good pictures. It is really a fun and colorful place but keeping up with 2 kids was work and we forgot to take photos.We got there at about 11 and started going in the animal exhibits, spending a good amount of time in the petting zoo. Kids love petting zoos but they don't pose well for photos. Is seems that we were always looking at the back of Katherine. This petting zoo had a lot of fun animals like camels, zebra and ostrich in addition to the regulars like cows and pigs.
We stopped for lunch and had the traditional corny dog and tornado potatoes. Then we went to the bird show. They had a lot of different birds trained to sing, fly barely over the audience's head and collect donations for a conservation fund.
It was hot and we did a lot of walking. Katherine had fun and did amazingly well at staying close and obeying. She even stayed dry and had no accidents (3rd day in a row!) By the time we left we were exhausted and both girls fell asleep in the car.
