Yesterday we met Janna, Robert, Laurie Jane,
Madi and Ben at the park. It was a beautiful day. This was a new park for me and it was a great one. It was built to be wheelchair accessible so it was easy for the kids to climb all over and it was safe as well. There was also a great fence around the park so we did not have to worry about the kids running to the parking lot or lake.
The park was on a small lake so there was some wildlife. I am not sure what kind of bird this is.
As you can see we were close to the airport. I thought this was funny that I was observing this great wildlife and an airplane ready for take off all at once.
Katherine enjoyed riding on the airplane "like Uncle Will flies".
After the playground we went to feed the ducks. It is pretty funny to watch 4 toddlers try to feed ducks. They would grab a handful of bread and throw it all at once. Of course it landed no where near the ducks. Then, one of them would get too close and they would all run away.
This picture makes me smile. Katherine is with her two best friends, Robert and Ben as they feed the ducks.
Katherine told me that they found a pink snake that was looking at her. I am not sure but very creative.
We had the goal of taking a group photo. It was impossible to get them all looking the same direction. Well, that is not true, in the photo below they are all looking in the same direction, just not in the direction of the camera.

That last sentence made me take another look at the picture and then laugh out loud!
Those are some cool airplanes! Especially the one that Katherine is flying!
