Halloween party at school

We started going to a new preschool this year and have loved it. One thing I love is all of the parent involvement and extra activities. Today was the Halloween party and as the room mother I was able to attend.

First we did a craft where the kids painted small pumpkins with glue and then sprinkled it with glitter. We did not know how it would go but they did great. Some kids dumped their glitter in one big glob on top and others sprinkled it all around.

These two handsome boys are Reece and Grayson. I have known their moms for awhile, mainly through blogging and common friends. In fact, Reece's mom was the photographer when Caroline was born and Kirsten would have been my back up doula but she had a new baby of her own. Anyway, this year the boys are in Katherine's class so now she is becoming friends with them, at least as much as she allows herself to be friends with any boy. :)

Caroline was at the party and before I noticed she had started painting a pumpkin on her own. I think next time I will seen alternate plans for Caroline.

Next we had a snack. There was fruit, popcorn, cookies and juice.
