Trolley ride

Last week was Spring Break. It is amazing how many activities took a week off even at the preschool level. We had a fun week getting together with friends whose schedules don't usually match up with ours.

Lynette and I used to hang out with our older two kids more often but her family has moved across town where it takes a bit more effort so we do not get together as often. We decided to meet in uptown to ride the antique trolley.

It was not quite as exciting to the kids as we had hoped. It does go pretty slowly. Next time we will get off at the end and go to a museum rather than ride the entire route at once.

Somehow we got all 4 kids in a photo. Katherine and Caedmon are about 3 months apart but they are in different classes at church. Libby is 3 weeks older than Caroline so they do get to play together at church.

We tried to get the kids to all sit on the bench while we found our keys. Not a single one was sitting still.
After the trolley ride we went to a popular restaurant that serves hot dogs and really yummy ice cream so of course it was a hit with the preschool set.
We ended the day at a really fun playground. That was the highlight for the kids but neither Lynette nor I took any photos.
