Bluebonnets

An annual tradition is to take photos in bluebonnets. It is our state flower and can be so pretty. The trick is to find a good field that is close by that does not include an ugly background of buildings, houses or highways. Thanks to Chrys and Julia for telling me about the same field that was only 10 minutes from home. The next tricky part is getting a photo of 2 girls actually looking at the camera at the same time. Smiles are optional.


Katherine is in love with flowers right now. Every time we are outside she picks me a "posy" of flowers or weeds. I love that she uses the word "posy" for a bouquet. I have never really used that word but it is in a book that we read and she has picked it up.
