Rapunzel Art Party

For Katherine's 6th birthday party she chose to do a party at home with a Rapunzel Art theme. Rapunzel loved to paint when she was in the tower so we thought we would also paint. I tried to include a lot of cute things to tie in to movie but I admit that no ideas were original. They were all found on pinterest.com.
These were sailboats made of oranges floating on an ocean of jello to remind us of the boat that Rapunzel and Flynn were in to see the floating lanterns.
Our one healthy food was apples (for Maximus the horse) and they were served in a frying pan, Rapunzel's weapon of choice.
I made a "Barbie Cake" using Rapunzel. it was not easy. I needed for the cake to be 2 inches taller for the right effect. I did not hear any complaints from the kids though. They ate it up.
Katherine is showing the Pascal blower. Pascal was Rapunzel's chameleon friend. When you blow on the blow out, it looks like Pascals tongue.

We had a photo booth where the girls could put on the Rapunzel braid and dress for a photo in the tower.  Then they could to have their picture taken by Flynn Rider's Wanted poster. We could not get his nose quite right.

The girls had fun painting on canvas.

We played "Pin the frying pan on Flynn Rider." Kylie won and got him right on the nose.

Time for cake.
